Ok, The Diva must speak on this. Who in their right mind would want to purchase the octomom's draw!? This crazy lady is selling her nursing bras and pregnancy panties just to make her mortgage. Damn shame when you chose to go out and have not one of two children, but 14! You don't come from money, you on welfare, and now you are having to sell your unmentionables in a garage sale to keep roof of your head and theirs. Girlfriend, you need to get it together and accept the hand YOU have dealt yourself! It is not fair to the children.  I mean you want to be loved, but one child or two can love you just the same.  I guess you thought you could get a show on TLC.  No one wants to deal with your emotionally unstable self.  And just to speak even further on it, maybe you should have just done the porn. I ain't saying its right but you do what you gotta, not what you wanna. Or hell, go get on the pole, you had a nice little tummy tuck I am sure you can get some money on the weekends as you take a twirl. SMH. Some people!

The Gospel of Inclusion In the Wake of the Eddie Long Scandal - I Am Not A Perfect Man

Rev. Carlton Pearson says that all will go to Heaven, but does that mean just because or does it mean that once we all accept Jesus as our Lord & Savior in the end and repent we can all go to Heaven?

I would like for us to dialogue on this. Also, what did Eddie Long (at this point I can no longer refer to him as Bishop, because while they may be allegations, a statement such as "I am not a perfect man..." says a lot without saying it all, follow me?) what did he mean when he said he was not perfect? I personally believe it is an underlying admittance orchestrated to protect the integrity of his legal battles, currently pending...Let's discuss!

A Word From The Diva on The Bishop Eddie Long Matter

One of the things that I have always said is that for those of us who are Christians, we must not in the words of my Pastor "Put not our trust in man for he will let you down everytime." We must trust God and that is it! We all have our own vices and weakness that cause us to stumble and fall short, but we just pick ourselves back up and keep moving, praying for strength and forgiveness. A friend said that if the allegations against the Bishop proved to be true he would leave church. To my friend and anyone else thinking this way I say, don't! Man is only a vessel to provide the word of God, he should not be placed on a pedastal. Remember the minister is not God. He is no different than the rest of us striving to be Christ-like! Just think if in the Bible God can speak using an Ass (donkey) he can use anyone to spread his word. God is capable of making the rocks cry out!

On today in front of his congregation the good Bishop advises that he will fight this. Good for you Bishop! Fight the good fight! But answer me this: Why were you sending mobile pics to these young men in form fitting spandex-like outfits from your bathroom no doubt!? Was this for a "How Do I Look" type thing? I mean for a man to his boys that's not normal behavior. Sure they send pics of their latest "kill" ie check out me and this 20 lb bass I just caught today or look at this lion I got on safari! Nevertheless fight on!...

In the court of public opinion this looks very bad for the Bishop, but if the accusations prove to be unfounded then this from the Christian perspective is just a storm for the Bishop and his family for which a break through is on its way! So let's be in prayer for Bishop, his family and the New Birth congregation and also pray for the young men bringing the case against the Bishop. If not and the allegations are true, pray anyway. It is a stuff pill to swallow, but all have sinned, let he who is without sin cast the first stone...

EVERYONE! Please watch this show tonight. Let's support it. It seems like it is going to be a really great show. You know, NBC they will cancel good shows in a heartbeat, if people are not watching. Besides for men & women, there is some great eye candy! Don't get too excited ladies, at least those of you who do not know who Boris Kodjoe is, he is happily married, but you must admit, he is the most beautiful man you have EVER laid your eyes on. Boys Will Be Boys or Should They Be? Let's Talk About it!

First off, let me say this, no woman deserves to be demeaned and degraded, however, can it be argued that if a female enters a world dominated by testosterone, dressed provocatively, is not fair to say that the woman is not going to get some "cat calls?"  Or at go in knowing that it is very much a possibility!? 

Girlfriend is posted all up in the locker room of the NY Jets trying to get an interview, but meanwhile you are wearing an outfit that shows off every curve, crack, & crevice you got!  Really you did not expect them to ignore hotness did you!?  I would be concerned if  they didn't say something.  And as a serious journalist you should know how to handle yourself in such a situation.  As long as there was no unwanted touches and as long as you stated, hey buddy, lay of the sex laced comments, I think we all could be cool! So people let's get interactive on this post and talk about it. 

Hospital Worker Feigns Mammogram Results...The Nerve!

The Diva is back! Been on hiatus, but I heard a most interesting news story this morning and I am simply horrified and wanted to share the story and my thoughts on the manner as only a good Diva can ;-).

Sure everyone wants their mammogram results to come back negative or benign, but lady you did not do any favors for the 10 of the 1300 women you feigned their results by giving them false hopes! I commend one of the patients for saying "Because I am a Christian I forgive her, I would be doing only harm to myself if I did not." Way to go, but I know that her initial reaction was I am going to kill that wench! The the spirit of the Lord came upon her...I immediately went into prayer for this woman because I know the Lord can deliver and she has so much to live for.

The world is a cold and harsh place and some people have no moral compasses. Stay prayed up people!

SMH...this is so very disappointing. All my friends know that this Diva, loves her some T.I.  But again, this is so very disappointing.  He has been blessed with a another chance and now him and Tiny get busted on drug possession. Oh, I pray he does not have to go back to jail and he only has to take some drug classes or go to rehab or something...just leave the old life alone. You said "The old me is dead and gone...." Perhaps you should have said half-dead & gone...get it together boo! Love ya!

The Chimney is A Way In - Good Idea, Good Idea!? No! Not a Good Idea

This story just goes to show us all that no matter how much education an individual has, common sense is not always so common. As the man stated in the video, who would ever think to go into the chimney to get into a house!? What could possibly have been in the house that she had to get to!? Sad state of affairs, a word to the wise, even if you are a size 0 or a 2, leave the chimney hopping to the mystical character known as Santa Claus! Could you imagine if they had tried to start a fire at Thanksgiving! What's that smell!? Oh well it has been a while since we cleaned out the chimney and then wham! The Glenn Beck Spin Factor

The Glenn Back Message - Turn Back to God...Really?

Turn back to God...hmmm, perhaps Glenn Beck should take heed to that considering the hypocrisy he espouses regularly as a talk show host. I believe the Bible, which is the Word of God, teaches that we are to love one another, I don't believe it says anything about the daily spreading hatred. It also teaches to pray for our leaders as well...come on Glenn, not all of us are drinking the same Kool-Aid...smh

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but there are some people that are so extreme, until those of us in this world who are not motivated to do our own research will follow their kind of rhetoric. For those who know me, it is no secret that I am a liberal Democrat, but guess what!? This liberal will be voting for Meg Whitman, a Republican, in the CA November Elections. Why? The alternative is far less attractive.

Life Lessons From The Diva

Just some random thoughts I had tonight, thought I would share them with you all...

I have learned not to take life too seriously because if you do what sanity you do have will turn to insanity.
I have learned that you are not indispensable, you are in fact dispensable.
I have learned that some people are vultures, while others are cultivators.
People will use you and if they do, do not dwell on it
Instead, wish them well and not to hell
It is what it is…
Some will just take your kindness for your weakness
Some will just take you for granted
Think of it this way – you were a blessing to them and chalk it up to an experience, a life lesson.
Hell the world is filled with users and grifters.
But just know, there are good people in the world
There are some that are not always looking for a handout
I have learned that life is short, might as well have fun
Do not be afraid to go for the gusto
In the end, the reality is that hardwork pays
Keep your eyes on the prize.
